I wish I could tell you that my health transformation was swift and sudden or that I’ve always lived a healthy active lifestyle. It wasn’t and I didn’t. My story is one of hitting rock-bottom, and then the bottom beneath that–but the journey to the other side showed me the way to the light!

You see, despite my vast understanding of proper diet and exercise—I spent a good part of my late teens and early adult life slumped in a painful cycle of tears, endless allergies, self-doubt, injury after injury, and a long relationship with depression. It got so bad that I had stepped away from life—and tearfully remained in my home (rock bottom), only to find that the “stay” DIDN’T improve my health, but made my situation along with the refrigerator worse (beneath rock bottom)—despite accomplishing goals that I thought would catapult my adult life.

Several years later, I met some amazing people and joined a community like no other and began to incorporate and continue my learning of personal development, nutrition education, fitness, living a healthy active lifestyle and their benefits to your long term health. Sentence by sentence, piece by piece, meal by meal, rep by rep, I learned to give my body exactly what it needed and my body began doing exactly what it was designed to do. I know yours can too!
